Welcome to Northport and the Award-Winning Northport School District!
Founded in the early 1900s, the Northport School District has a long-standing tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, and student activities. Our district has been home to outstanding student scholars, championship teams, and vibrant extracurricular programs.
At the heart of our success is a dedicated team of educators and support staff who deliver rigorous, high-quality instruction in a caring and supportive environment. With an average class size of 15, our students benefit from individualized attention and a strong sense of community.
We offer a rich and varied curriculum from Early Childhood through 12th grade, including Spanish, French, and numerous College in the Classroom courses. Our students also have access to a range of vocational programs for those pursuing career pathways. Instruction is delivered by exceptional educators who are committed to student growth and success.

Our mission is to prepare every student with the life skills necessary for success in the workplace, higher education, and service to their communities. This includes supporting a growing number of students through our Parent Partnership Program, Homelink, which allows families to engage in home-based learning with school support.
