Step 1: Complete the Choice Transfer
(For Families Outside Northport School District)
All students residing outside the Northport School District boundaries must complete a Choice Transfer request each school year using the Washington State Electronic Choice Transfer system:

Complete the form using the following details:
● School Year: 2025–2026
● Start Date: 9/1/2025
● End Date: 6/15/2026 or 8/30/2026
● Resident School District: Your home district
● Nonresident School District: Northport School District
● Last Attended School District: As applicable
● Reason for Request: To enroll in an alternative school/program
Step 2: Submit Homelink Enrollment Paperwork

A Homelink teacher will contact you (usually within 7–10 business days) to answer questions and clarify expectations.
4. Submit Supporting Documents to the Homelink Office:
○ Evidence of student age (e.g., birth certificate, previous school records, adoption paperwork, etc.)
○ Immunization records (Contact the Homelink office for information about exemption options)

2. Review & Placement
Your request will be reviewed by Dr. Hunt (principal) each Wednesday. A teacher may be assigned, or a Success Team Meeting may be scheduled to discuss placement.

Enrollment Timeline
● Enrollment is open through the first half of the school year, based on availability.
● After February 1, 2026, applications for the 2025–2026 school year will no longer be accepted.
● Applications for the 2026–2027 school year may still be submitted after this date.
